11 Days of Yoga, Culture & Connection

Bali has been one of the most transformative places in my life — a land of softness, depth, devotion, and quiet magic. In October 2026, I’m returning to this sacred island with something very close to my heart: an intimate, intentionally crafted Yoga & Culture Retreat for those who feel called to experience the real Bali.

This is not a rushed itinerary, not a checklist of sights, and not the “Instagram version” of the island. This is a slow, soulful journey into authenticity, presence, and meaningful connection — with yourself, with others, and with Balinese culture.

Together with a trusted local partner, we’ve designed an 11-day experience rooted in respect, depth, and genuine encounters. You’ll be guided gently through moments of stillness and celebration, ritual and nature, movement and meaning.

What to Expect?

During this journey, you will experience two very different sides of Bali: six nights in Ubud, the spiritual heart of the island, and four nights in Candidasa, on Bali’s peaceful eastern coast.
Ubud lies in the center of the island. Just a few minutes of walking is enough to find yourself surrounded by swaying palm trees or embraced by lush green rice terraces. Ubud is the cultural, spiritual, and religious center of Balinese life. Romantic cafés and charming restaurants line the streets one after another. Our authentic accommodation is located right in the heart of the town, yet on an unbelievably quiet street, just 1- 2 minutes’ walk from everything.

Candidasa is a hidden seaside village where time moves a little slower and the rhythm of the waves gently calms the soul. Here, both nature and the warm smiles of the locals remind you why Bali is often called the Island of the Gods. The surrounding temples, water palaces, and lagoons offer a quiet, spiritual Bali experience.

DAY 1 - Arrival in Paradise

Om Swastiastu, Welcome to Bali! Upon landing at the airport, enjoy a seamless group transfer to your welcoming 4-star hotel in the lush Ubud area. The scenic drive takes approximately 1.5–2 hours, depending on traffic, allowing you to unwind and soak in your first glimpses of Bali's verdant landscapes. Check in, settle into your comfortable accommodations, and ease into the retreat with some free time to relax.

DAY 4 - Culinary Traditions and Sound Healing

Dive into Balinese daily life with a visit to a vibrant local market, followed by a hands-on cooking class in a beautiful family home. Learn to prepare authentic dishes in an idyllic setting. Later, head to the iconic Pyramids of Chi in Ubud for immersive sound healing experiences: a rejuvenating Sound Bowl Bath, innovative Light, Sound & Vibration (LSV) Therapy on custom vibrational beds, and—if your retreat aligns with a Wednesday—an optional Breathwork & Shamanic Journey (book individually on-site). Evening yoga provides gentle closure.

DAY 7 - Transition to Coastal Bliss

After a relaxing morning, transfer to your beachfront 4-star hotel (approximately 1.5–2 hours drive), where ocean views and gentle sea breezes await. Settle in and join evening yoga to harmonize with your new surroundings.

DAY 10 - Offerings and Graceful Movement

Morning yoga prepares you for a creative Canang Sari Workshop: craft intricate flower offerings symbolizing gratitude and balance, followed by an introduction to traditional Balinese dance lessons. These hands-on activities offer profound insight into the island's daily spiritual practices. Evening yoga for reflection.

DAY 2 - Awakening & Purification

Begin your days with gentle morning yoga sessions to center the body and mind. In the afternoon, experience the profound Melukat purification ceremony at one of Bali's secluded hidden temples. Guided under enchanting, magical circumstances, this sacred water ritual cleanses the spirit, releasing negative energies and restoring inner harmony in a serene, mystical setting. Conclude with restorative evening yoga to fully integrate your day.

DAY 5 - Village Immersion and Sacred Rituals

Visit a local school for heartfelt cultural exchange, then dress in traditional Balinese attire for an intimate experience in a family home: learn the art of offering-making and taste homemade Balinese pastries. The highlight is a multi-stage purification ceremony at a magical temple near the village, fostering deep spiritual renewal. Enjoy an authentic Balinese lunch to complete this enriching day.

DAY 3 - UNESCO Rice Terraces and Nature's Serenity

Explore the breathtaking Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its vast, cascading emerald fields and ancient subak irrigation system. Enjoy a leisurely picnic featuring Balinese pastries beneath swaying palm trees by the riverside, followed by a visit to a hidden small waterfall for tranquil reflection. Savor lunch at a local family warung, delighting in their house specialty of fried red rice. Evening yoga rounds out the day.

DAY 6 - Self-Care and Healing

Start with invigorating morning yoga, followed by a Natural Cosmetics Workshop using Bali's pure ingredients. Optional add-ons include a luxurious 60-minute facial treatment with arm and leg massage (GIFT included; €95/person) or a private Balinese purification session with a traditional healer (€185/person). Unwind further with evening yoga.

DAY 8 - Relaxation and Ayurveda

Morning yoga overlooking the waves sets a peaceful tone. Indulge in optional Ayurvedic massages available at the hotel spa for deep rejuvenation. Evening yoga helps you absorb the day's serenity.

DAY 9 - Optional Eastern Bali Exploration

Energize with morning yoga, then opt for a guided day program (minimum 7 participants; €105/person) exploring eastern Bali's wonders: the elegant Taman Ujung Water Palace with its grand ponds and bridges, the serene Tirta Gangga Water Palace featuring fountains and koi-filled gardens, and the majestic Besakih Temple, Bali's "Mother Temple" at the foot of Mount Agung. Evening yoga closes the day.

Day 11: Departure with Renewed Spirit

Savor a final morning yoga session, then check out and enjoy a group transfer back to the airport, carrying memories of Bali's magic with you.

This retreat is intentionally intimate - only ten participants - so we can truly connect with the culture, the island itself, and with each other.

Hi, I am Bojana

My mission is to help people explore the unparalleled beauty within and around them through yoga and wellness.

I believe that yoga has the power to rejuvenate and transform lives, increasing awareness, improving balance, and fostering a deeper connection between mind, body, and spirit. I am passionate about sharing this journey of well-being.

 

One of the most touching moments for me is hearing & experiencing how my retreats feel like holidays with friends right from the very first moment; a space where people could feel uplifted, lighter, and simply happy.

Words like these remind me why I do what I do… and leave me deeply humbled and grateful.
